§ 2-344. Duties and functions of Board.

The Water and Sewer Advisory Board shall have the following duties, functions and responsibilities:

(a)

To serve in an advisory capacity to the County Commission and the Department with respect to matters relating to long-range planning of a Countywide water and sewer system.

(b)

To make a continuing study of the County's needs for water and sewer services.

(c)

To formulate plans and programs for the implementation of necessary activities to effectuate its recommendations.

(d)

To devise methods by which the existing water and sewer service may be improved to more fully provide service to the general public.

(e)

To perform and carry out such duties and functions of an advisory nature as may be assigned by the Board of County Commissioners.
