Immediately upon the effective date of the ordinance from which this article derives,
Miami-Dade County, by and through its Board of County Commissioners, shall serve as
the legally and validly organized successor to the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Authority
and shall assume all of the rights, obligations, properties, and duties of the Miami-Dade
Water and Sewer Authority.
