§ 8A-333. Inventory.
(a)
A written inventory shall be prepared by the mover, unless the shipper waives, in writing, preparation of an inventory. The written inventory shall be prepared and signed by both the shipper and the mover prior to departure of the mover's motor vehicle from the shipper's pick-up point(s). No mover shall charge for preparing an inventory unless, prior to preparing the inventory, the mover:

Clearly and conspicuously discloses in writing to the customer the amount of the charge for preparation of the inventory or, if the amount cannot be determined, the complete basis upon which the charge will be calculated.
(b)
It is unlawful for a mover to require a shipper to waive the preparation of an inventory.
