§ 8A-334. Acceptable forms of payment.

Latest version.

(a)

A mover shall accept a minimum of two (2) of the following methods of payment:

(1)

Cash, cashier's check, money order, or traveler's check; or

(2)

Valid personal check, showing on its face the name and address of the shipper or authorized representative; or

(3)

Valid credit card, which shall include but not be limited to Visa or MasterCard.

(b)

A mover shall clearly and conspicuously disclose to the shipper in the contract for service and estimate which methods of payment the mover will accept pursuant to this section.
