§ 21-40. Smoking, spitting within certain public vehicles prohibited.

Passengers are prohibited from smoking or spitting within any fixed guideway mass transit vehicles, buses, limousines, or jitneys operated for public use in the County, including Miami-Dade County municipalities; and the operators of such vehicles shall provide a sign within each of their vehicles so advising. Penalties for anyone violating the provisions hereof shall be the same as those provided in Section 1-5 of the Code of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
