§ 8CC-9. Provisions contained herein are supplemental; general penalty for failure to correct violations.

(1)

Nothing contained in this chapter shall prohibit Miami-Dade County from enforcing its Code by any other means. The enforcement procedures outlined herein are cumulative to all others and shall not be deemed to be prerequisites to filing suit for the enforcement of any Section of this Code.

(2)

It shall be unlawful for a named violator found guilty of a code violation pursuant to Section 8CC-5(c) or Section 8CC-6 to fail to correct the violation as set forth in the uniform civil violation notice and said failure shall be a separate offense punishable as set forth in Section 1-5 of the Code of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
