§ 33D-3. Relationship of management area plan to comprehensive plan.

  • The plan, which is attached to the ordinance [from which this article is derived] and hereby included by reference in its entirety, is declared to be ancillary to, but not a part of the Comprehensive Development Master Plan for Miami-Dade County and shall constitute a guide for and development of standards and criteria to protect, conserve, develop and utilize the natural and developed resources within the Biscayne Bay Management Area, in a manner that will benefit the public at large and minimize adverse impacts upon this resource. This Board declares its policy and intent to evaluate and consider this plan in all future decisions relating to protection, conservation, development or utilization of the natural and man-made environments within the Biscayne Bay Management Area. The Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners is directed to keep a copy of the plan on file with the ordinance [from which this article is derived.]
