§ 31-83. Chauffeur's registration.

  • Except as provided elsewhere in this article, it shall be unlawful for any person to drive a taxicab over any street in Miami-Dade County without first having obtained a chauffeur's registration from the RER pursuant to Chapter 31, Article V of this Code. A chauffeur registered pursuant to this article shall not be required to take specified courses, and oral, written and physical examinations required by Article V.
