§ 30-392. Same—Right of police to inspect unaffected.

  • (a)

    The issuance of an inspection certificate shall not affect the right of police officers to inspect said vehicle at all times to determine if said vehicle meets the standards prescribed by Chapter 325 and Chapter 317, Florida Statutes.

    (b)

    Any police officer authorized to administer or enforce the motor vehicle laws of this State and County may require the driver of a vehicle to stop and submit such vehicle and its equipment to an inspection, and such test with reference hereto as may be appropriate, to determine that such vehicle is in a safe operating condition, and that it complies with the provisions of Chapter 325 and Chapter 317, Florida Statutes.
