§ 30-385. Option of arrested person, or person issued a citation or summons, to plead guilty or appear in court.

Any person charged with an offense for which payment of a fine may be made shall have the option of:
(1)

Paying such fine within the time specified in the traffic citation or summons thereby entering a plea of guilty and waiving appearance in court; or

(2)

Requesting a court hearing within the time and in the manner specified in the traffic or parking citation or summons, and appearing in court and answering to the charge.
