§ 30-211. Reckless driving.

  • (1)

    Any person who drives any vehicle in willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property is guilty of reckless driving.

    (2)

    Any person convicted of reckless driving shall be punished, upon a first conviction, by imprisonment for a period of not more than ninety (90) days or by fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or by both such fine and imprisonment. On a second or subsequent conviction, any such person shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than six (6) months or by a fine of not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), or by both such fine and imprisonment.
