§ 2-187. Department created; Director; organization; employees.

(a)

A Department of Housing and Urban Development is hereby established.

(b)

The head of this department is the Director of Housing and Urban Development. The Director shall be appointed by the Manager subject to the approval of the Board of County Commissioners and shall serve at the will of the Manager.

(c)

The organization and operating procedures of the department shall be prescribed by administrative orders and regulations of the Manager.

(d)

The Manager shall appoint such employees as may be necessary to operate the department. The compensation of all personnel shall be fixed by the Commission upon recommendation of the Manager.
