The Miami-Dade Police Department shall be vested with sole and exclusive responsibility
for performance of the powers, duties and functions hereinabove enumerated except
as otherwise provided by Section 2-95 of the Code of Miami-Dade County. All such powers, duties and functions heretofore
performed by other County departments, agencies and officials are hereby transferred
to the Miami-Dade Police Department, and all County departments and agencies whose
activities are confined solely to performance of the powers, duties and functions
hereby vested exclusively in the Miami-Dade Police Department are hereby abolished
and all their equipment transferred to this Department.
