§ 2-2166. Creation and Purpose.

There is hereby created and established the Dade-Miami Criminal Justice Council (the "Council"). The purpose of this Council is:
(a)

To advise and make recommendations to the Miami-Dade County Mayor, the Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners, the City of Miami Mayor, and the City of Miami Board of City Commissioners on matters related to countywide criminal justice issues; and

(b)

To encourage and facilitate coordination and cooperation between and among the various agencies of the criminal justice system of Miami-Dade County.
