Benches shall conform to the approved standards and specifications on file with the
Product Control Branch of the Code Compliance Department. A permittee shall maintain
each bus passenger bench in a good state of repair and appearance, and shall keep
the area surrounding each bench free of debris, high grass, weeds, and other rubbish
for a radius of seven (7) feet from the center of the bench. Failure to properly maintain
the bench or the surrounding area shall constitute cause for cancellation of the permit
and removal of the bench as provided in Section 21-165.
