§ 21-48. Sale and installation of satellite dish antennas to residential customers.
(A)
The following definition shall apply to this section:
Satellite dish antenna (SDA) shall be defined as set forth in Section 33-63.1(a) of the Code of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
(B)
It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or install any satellite dish antenna to any residential customer in Miami-Dade County, Florida, without providing prior written notice to the residential customer that: permits are usually required by the municipality or county to install a satellite dish antenna on residential property; and failure to obtain those permits may result in substantial penalties being imposed on the residential customer.
