§ 18A-12. Prohibitions.

  • (A)

    Prohibited plant species. Prohibited species shall not be planted and shall be removed from any site which is subject to the requirements of this chapter.

    (B)

    Controlled plant species. Controlled species shall not be planted within five hundred (500) feet of a Natural Forest Community or native habitats as defined herein.

    (C)

    West Indian Mahogany. West Indian Mahogany, Swietenia mahagoni, shall not be planted within five hundred (500) feet of a rockland hammock or pine rockland.

    (D)

    Tree abuse. Tree abuse is prohibited. Abused trees shall not be counted toward fulfilling the minimum tree requirements.
