This article is intended and shall be construed as constituting minimum standards
for all governmental units in the County in respect to minimum housing standards,
in accordance with the provisions of Section 1.01A(18) of the Home Rule Charter of
Government for Miami-Dade County, Florida. To the extent of the minimum housing standards
herein provided, all County and municipal ordinances, County and municipal resolutions,
municipal charters, special laws applying only to Miami-Dade County or any general
law which the County Commission is authorized by the Constitution to supersede, nullify
or amend, and any part of any such ordinance, resolution, charter, or law in conflict
with or inconsistent with the minimum housing standards herein established are hereby
repealed and superseded.
