§ 14-60. Purpose and Scope.

(A)

This article is intended to supplement the Florida Fire Prevention Code and the rules and regulations of the State Fire Marshal, as amended, and not to conflict with the provisions thereof. The intent and purpose of this article is to provide more stringent fire safety standards in Miami-Dade County for the protection of life and property or to meet special situations arising from historic, geographic, or unusual conditions.

(B)

The provisions of this article shall apply in the unincorporated and incorporated areas of Miami-Dade County.
