§ 11A-27. Exception to jurisdiction; Miami-Dade County employees.
(1)
Any employee of Miami-Dade County who believes he or she has been aggrieved by a violation of this article may file a complaint with the Fair Employment Practices Director.
(2)
The Fair Employment Practices Director shall have jurisdiction to resolve any complaint of violation of this article, which is filed within three hundred sixty-five (365) days of the alleged discriminatory employment action by or on behalf of an employee of Miami-Dade County, and in connection therewith, the Fair Employment Practices Director may exercise any and all powers granted to him or her by Article VI of this chapter.
